Gambling licensing in Cameroon
Law 2015/012 replaced Cameroon's 1989 and 1992 gambling decrees and, for the first time, covered online gambling. Its 2019 implementing decree puts every game under one of three regimes: concession, authorisation or declaration. Online betting and online poker fall under the authorisation regime, with authorisations issued by the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT). No public list of authorised operators is published, so only Cameroon sites confirmed as operating are listed here, and they need checking.

Key licensee requirements
- Hold a MINAT authorisation to offer online betting
- Promoters must be adults, of good character and never convicted of violence
- Casino promoters must show sufficient funds and lodge a deposit to guarantee stakes
- Refund balances within three years when closing a player account; unclaimed sums go to the State
- Since 30 January 2025, route online gambling deposits and withdrawals through the single approved payment aggregator
