Gambling licensing in Chile
Chile has not yet introduced a licensing regime for online gambling. The Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego regulates land-based casinos under Ley N° 19.995, and a bill to license online betting and casino platforms has been before Congress. Until it takes effect, only the two lotteries created by law — Polla Chilena de Beneficencia and Lotería de Concepción — may legally sell games online. Offshore gambling sites operate without Chilean authorisation.
