Gambling licensing in Ghana
Gambling in Ghana, including online sports betting and online casino, may only be offered under a licence from the Gaming Commission of Ghana under the Gaming Act, 2006 (Act 721). Licences are renewed each calendar year. The Commission publishes the official list of licensed operators by trade name, operation type and licence period.

Key licensee requirements
- Hold a current Gaming Commission licence before offering gambling in Ghana
- Renew the licence every year (current licences run 1 January to 31 December 2026)
- Verify the identity and age of every player
- Meet anti-money-laundering duties under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 (Act 1044)
- Pay gaming taxes and submit to Gaming Commission supervision
