Gambling licensing in Netherlands
Online gambling in the Netherlands is only legal under a remote gambling (Koa) licence issued by the Kansspelautoriteit under Article 31a of the Betting and Gaming Act. The Ksa publishes every licence holder, website, app and licence number in its official register, the Kansspelwijzer. The first online licences, issued from October 2021, run for five years; successor licences for October 2026 to September 2031 began to be announced on 17 September 2026.

- Verify identity and age, with stricter deposit limits for players under 24
- Follow addiction-prevention duties and appoint a prevention representative
- Comply with advertising restrictions, including the ban on untargeted advertising
