Gambling licensing in Peru
Since 2024 online casino games (juegos a distancia) and online sports betting (apuestas deportivas a distancia) in Peru may only be offered on technology platforms authorised by MINCETUR under Ley N° 31557, amended by Ley N° 31806, and its regulation D.S. N° 005-2023-MINCETUR. The DGJCMT publishes the register of authorisation holders with each authorised domain, authorisation type and status.

Key licensee requirements
- Hold a MINCETUR operating authorisation (valid for six years) for each technology platform and domain
- Use a platform certified by a MINCETUR-authorised testing laboratory
- Transmit technical and economic data to MINCETUR's data centre
- Verify player identity and age; no gambling under 18
- Pay the 12% special tax on online gaming and betting
