Gambling licensing in Portugal
Online gambling in Portugal is regulated under the Online Gambling and Betting Legal Regime (RJO), in force since 2015. The SRIJ licenses fixed-odds sports betting and games of chance (casino games and poker), and publishes the official list of licensed entities, their websites and licence numbers.

Key licensee requirements
- Hold an SRIJ licence before offering any online gambling in Portugal
- Operate only the game types named on the licence
- Connect to the national self-exclusion register and block self-excluded players
- Display the SRIJ licence identification on the website
- Keep player accounts and funds under SRIJ supervision rules
