Gambling licensing in Slovakia
Since March 2019 the Gambling Act has opened online casino and online betting to licensed private operators, ending the state monopoly of TIPOS. Operators must hold an individual licence and a seat in the Slovak Republic or the EU/EEA. The Gambling Regulatory Authority (ÚRHH) supervises the market, publishes the list of legal gambling websites and blocks unlicensed ones.
