Gambling licensing in Spain
Online gambling in Spain is regulated by the DGOJ under Ley 13/2011. Operators must hold a general licence for each gambling modality (betting, contests, other games) plus a singular licence for each game type they offer. The DGOJ publishes every licensed operator and its authorised websites in its official operator search.

- Operate only from the websites authorised in the licence
- Verify player identity and age, and exclude self-excluded players
- Meet technical certification requirements through approved testing bodies
- Follow advertising rules under Royal Decree 958/2020
