How the renewals were assessed
Dutch online licences are not renewed automatically; holders must apply for a new licence. For the first time, the KSA examined violations established over the previous five years and required applicants to explain what they had done to remedy them and prevent recurrence. Applicants also had to submit market exit plans.
The KSA said all eight met the requirements. It gave several operators unspecified "additional points for attention" but did not name them.
Status on this register
Licences that are not renewed expire on 30 September 2026. IRLG will update the Netherlands page after that date so that only operators holding a valid licence from 1 October 2026 are listed. Further renewal decisions are expected.
