Gambling licensing in Brazil
Since 1 January 2025 fixed-odds betting on sports events and online games may only be offered in Brazil by companies authorised by the Ministry of Finance's Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA/MF). Each authorisation is granted by a published ministerial order (portaria), lasts five years and allows up to three brands. Licensed sites must operate exclusively on the .bet.br domain.
